Terms of Use
Effective September 1, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to Survlee’s websites, survey tools, creator workspace, reports, and related services. By creating an account, publishing a survey, submitting a response, or otherwise using Survlee, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Survlee for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
2. Accounts and access
Creator accounts must contain accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in credentials. Respondents do not need an account unless a survey owner separately requires identification. You must notify us promptly through Support if you believe an account or survey link has been misused.
3. Your surveys and response data
You retain ownership of the questions, branding, files, and other material you provide to Survlee. As between you and Survlee, the survey owner controls the response data collected through that owner’s surveys. You grant Survlee a limited license to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that material only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.
Survey owners are responsible for providing respondents with an accurate notice of how responses will be used, selecting an appropriate identity setting, obtaining any required consent, and honoring applicable privacy, employment, research, marketing, and records-retention laws.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Survlee to:
- break the law, violate another person’s rights, or facilitate fraud;
- collect sensitive information without a lawful basis and appropriate notice;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, or deceive respondents;
- send spam or distribute surveys through unlawfully obtained contact lists;
- upload malware or attempt to bypass authentication, limits, or security controls;
- probe, scan, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where law permits;
- use response data to make unlawful eligibility, employment, credit, housing, or similar decisions; or
- represent automated or AI-generated output as verified fact without appropriate review.
5. AI-assisted analysis
Some Survlee features may use automated or AI-assisted systems to organize responses, identify themes, or draft summaries. These outputs can be incomplete or incorrect and are not legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice. The survey owner must review the supporting evidence, limitations, and final language before using or sharing an AI-assisted conclusion.
6. Paid plans
Paid features, limits, and prices are those shown when a plan is purchased or assigned. Unless stated otherwise, recurring subscriptions renew until canceled. Taxes may apply. We may change future pricing or plan contents with reasonable notice, but changes do not retroactively alter an already paid billing period. Failure to pay may result in a plan downgrade or loss of access to paid features; existing response data remains subject to the applicable retention policy.
7. Survlee property
Survlee and its software, visual design, documentation, trademarks, and service technology are owned by Survlee or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership of the service or permit resale except under a written partner agreement.
8. Availability, changes, and suspension
We work to keep Survlee available and secure, but no online service is uninterrupted. We may maintain, change, limit, or discontinue a feature. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or address nonpayment. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export data before a material discontinuation.
9. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, Survlee is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Survlee is not responsible for survey owners’ questions, distribution, promises, decisions, or use of response data.
To the extent permitted by law, Survlee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Survlee’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Survlee during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.
10. Ending use
You may stop using Survlee at any time. Account termination does not remove obligations that by their nature survive, including payment obligations, ownership provisions, disclaimers, and liability limits. We may retain or delete information as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law, security, backup, or dispute needs.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. A material change will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product or email notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be submitted through Survlee Support.
